The Portals of Mother Earth in the Andes — What They Are and Why They Work

In the Andean tradition there is a concept foreign to Western thinking: that the earth itself has energy centers — portals, chakras, living points through which the consciousness of the earth is especially dense and accessible. That is not a metaphor. It is what Andean healers have worked with for centuries. ## What Chakras of the Earth Mean Pachamama — Mother Earth — is in Andean cosmology not a symbol. She is a living being.

With her own consciousness, her own energy, her own rhythm. And as the human body has energy centers, the earth too has points where her life energy is especially accessible. These points shift. The tradition describes that the most active energy centers of the earth move in cycles — and that at present they are located in the Andes of Peru.

That sounds mythological. Whoever has been at these places understands it differently. ## Why These Portals Are Especially Active Now In Andean cosmology we live in a Pachakuti — a turning point. A shift of consciousness that affects all levels. The portals in Peru are especially active in this time, because the earth herself is in a process of transformation.

Whoever comes to these places enters this process. The Sami — the light, free energy that is the opposite of Hucha (heavy energy) — flows especially strongly at these points. Whoever is in such an energy field can release layers he otherwise cannot release. Not through effort.

Through contact. ## The Specific Portals of the Andes Not every portal has the same function. That is one of the most important differences between a guided spiritual Peru journey and a self-organized one. The Moon Temple, which we encounter first, is dedicated to the consciousness of the Ñustas — the priestesses of the Inca tradition. It heals the feminine energy.

For women it works on the feminine ancestral line, on wounds passed down through the mother's side. For men it opens the connection to one's own mother, to the feminine side in every person. Another portal at 4,500 meters works with the memory of the DNA. In the Andean tradition there is the idea that traumatic experiences of the ancestors are stored in the body — and that certain places have the capacity to free this information.

Not as a miracle. As an energetic process that takes time — but is enormously accelerated by the portal. A third portal works with what the tradition calls the inner temples. What is called chakras in the West has a different form in Andean work — and certain places activate these inner centers in a way not reached through meditation or body work alone. ## What I Learned in Peru The work with these portals enabled my own transformation over years.

I did not go to Peru as a teacher. I went as a seeker — and what I found there changed my life. Through my line, through the Lupaca tradition, through the work with my teachers, I learned how to communicate with these places. How to ask before entering.

How to bring the offerings the place needs. How to recognize whether a portal is open — and how to respond when it closes. These things are not in books. Whoever knows them received them from someone who received them from someone. ## What Happens at Such Places — Concretely On a journey in the rainy season — where daily rain would be expected — we had nine days of sun.

The weather followed the process, not the calendar. Another time, during an intense cleansing ceremony at one of the higher places, three rainbows appeared one after another. For the group that was no coincidence. For me it was the signal that the place was answering.

I do not report this to convince. Whoever needs to be convinced is not yet ready. Whoever reads this report and thinks: I know that — a pull in a direction without a clear reason — already knows what is meant. You will find all the information about the next Peru journey on the corresponding page.
